Medicare, made more understandable

Know what
you’re comparing.

Look beyond the premium. Your doctors, prescriptions, network, and overall costs all matter.

Medicare Advantage

A private-plan way to receive Medicare Part A and Part B benefits. Networks, out-of-pocket costs, and drug coverage vary by plan.

Medicare Supplement

Works with Original Medicare to help pay certain out-of-pocket costs. Enrollment rights and underwriting rules differ from Medicare Advantage.

Prescription coverage

Part D helps cover prescription medicines. Check your medications, pharmacy network, formulary, and costs for the specific plan year.

A detail worth knowing.

Medicare Open Enrollment does not automatically give you the right to buy a Medigap policy without underwriting. Your rights depend on your circumstances.

Frequently asked questions

A few answers.
A clearer start.

Still have a question?
We’re here to talk.

When can I enroll in Medicare coverage?

Enrollment periods depend on your circumstances. Medicare Open Enrollment runs October 15 through December 7 for permitted Medicare Advantage and Part D changes. Initial and Special Enrollment Periods have different rules.

Can I keep my doctor?

That depends on the coverage and your doctor’s participation. Check the current provider directory and confirm directly with the plan and provider before enrolling.

Can you help me understand prescription costs?

Ask Omar about reviewing your prescriptions against the plan’s current formulary and pharmacy network. Coverage, restrictions, and costs differ by plan and year.

Is Advance Insurance part of Medicare?

No. Advance Insurance is an independent insurance brokerage, not a government agency. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the federal Medicare program.

What should I have ready for a conversation?

Start with your ZIP code, coverage questions, and preferred contact method. Discuss doctors and medications during the consultation. Do not send Medicare numbers, Social Security numbers, medical records, or payment details through this form or ordinary email.

Does contacting you enroll me in a plan?

No. An inquiry does not enroll you, bind coverage, establish a Scope of Appointment, or replace any required consent or enrollment process.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, by arrangement at your location or another mutually agreed location. You can also request a phone or online appointment.
